Q&A: Hybrids

Transcript

Question, "So if dragons are a hybrid, then what exactly are hybrids?" Answer, "Because all anthros are really the same species, any pairing may produce viable offspring." We see a family portrait of Ine's Aunt Jen, the mountain lion, his Uncle Lane, the bearded dragon, and their son, who appears to be a bearded dragon with a mountain lion's tail. "The child of an interspecies couple will usually match only one of its parents, though may inherit small, cosmetic traits from the other parent. Hybrids are unique in that the child is equal parts it's mother's and father's species. Some combinations seem to have a propensity towards producing hybrids. A few well-known examples of these are griffins, pegasi, and of course, jackalopes." We see a female with the face and wings of an eagle and the paws and tail of a lion, with a caption that reads, "griffin, eagle plus lion." Then we see a horse with bird wings instead of arms, with a caption that says, "pegasus, horse plus bird." Then, we see a rabbit with antlers, with a caption that says "jackalope, rabbit plus deer." Finally, we see a coyote, glancing backwards as if startled at a female bullfrog with curved ram's horns coming from her head. "Other combinations are more rare, but in theory, any is possible."
