Reader Q&A 2

Transcript

Question, "Where does meat come from?" from Reid. Chris answers, gesturing towards a store in the distance with a sign that says Kanga Mart, "From the grocery store, of course! Nah, I knew what you meant. Meat comes from animals. We do have those! (See the Q&A pages near the beginning.) Here's a quick review..." Chris stands with the label "Anthro" beneath him and Dil sits nearby with the label "Feral," and a line connects them both to a label that says, "Technically same species; intelligent." Then, a normal, animal beagle sits on the floor scratching itself with labels that read, "Animal, totally different species; unintelligent." Question, "How did aquatic species emerge on land?" from Reid. We see an image of an anthro dolphin rising up from the ocean holding a strand of fish while an anthro cat kneels down to offer a coconut. June answers, "Some aquatic species began to settle on land as inter-species relations became more common, so they could more easily interact with their land-dwelling neighbors. From there, they began to migrate further and further inland. Now they can be found almost anywhere, including far from any large water source." She shrugs as she says, "I've... Never been to the ocean, for example..."
