Mally watches as June looks whistful and says, "Our kitchen was the center of our house, always warm, noisy, and full of life." A scene shows June's mother, a darker purple dolphin wearing an apron, as she picks up a jar of spices while a younger june squirts a sliced lemon at her sister, a pale blue dolphin, who shields her eyes and laughs. June says, "On a typical day, Mom, Flora, and I would start prepping vegetables an hour before dinnertime." June's father, a dark blue dolphin, carries in a large container of fish. June's mom kisses him on the cheek while June and her siblings cut vegetables and mix batter. A large pot can be seen simmering on the stove. June says, "By the time Dad brought home the day's catch, the sauce was on the stovetop and we were starting the dough for fish biscuits." June's dad pours juice into a pitcher while the her mom opens the oven and the kids mix, roll, and form dough into biscuits and cook the vegetables. June says, "My two little brothers were in charge of stamping and baking the fish biscuits. Dad loved making mixed juices and trying them out on us. It was loud and crazy… and wonderful!"
