Transcript
Chris stands behind Kraal and gestures towards the door, smiling and saying, "Hey, we're starting a game of Chimera's Wrath. Wanna join?" Kraal looks up in surprise and says, "Ohhh... Game night..." Kraal glances down and says, "I'm really sorry... I wish I could. I just don't know if--" Kraal looks surprised as Chris interrupts, tilting Kraal's chin upward with his hand and saying, "Hold up... Are you feeling okay, man? You look... spent." Kraal pushes his hand away and says, "Just a bit tired, that's all. But I'll be fine." Kraal turns back to his desk and says, "The immportant thing is that I finish this semester." Chris looks concerned, but says, "Well, all right then." As Chris turns to leave, he says, "Just try to finish alive, okay?"

It’s good to be working on comics again!

Fun fact: This is page number 2^8 of Aww, Feathers! What does that mean? It means I’m a huge nerd. 🤓🧮 It also means that I’ve been working on this comic for a really long time! But you know, every time I take a break from it, I always find myself drawn back. I love telling stories, especially this one in particular. I guess that means you’re stuck with me!
We’re all moved in to our new house. Unless you’ve ever done it yourself, you might not believe just how physically, mentally, and emotionally exhausting moving can be. But overall, we were very fortunate. Things worked out very well for us, and while my break was definitely needed, I’m super grateful to finally be able to start drawing again.
Here’s to page 2^9! Which will probably take a while, but hopefully not nine more years! 🤞
