Transcript

A caption reads "Later," and we see Kraal smiling contently as he packs a duffle bag in his room. Chris walks by the open door and says, "Oh hey. I thought you'd still be on campus." Kraal looks up and responds, "Nope. Just packing so I can leave tomorrow." Chris looks surprised and says, "Tomorrow? You're done already?" Kraal glances down at his bag and says, "Yeah, I finished my last exam an hour ago. I head home first thing in the morning." We then see a closeup of Chris, smiling and tilting his head curiously as he says, "That's... wow. How'd you pull that off?" Kraal glances up at him and smiles warmly, saying, "I had a lot of help." Chris smiles bashfully, rubbing the back of his neck.

Lark says…

Lark

“Keep smiling, keep shining, knowing you can always count on me, for sure. That’s what friends are for!” (Dionne Warwick)

Behind the Scenes

This is about the time when I finally started getting the hang of my new comic work and release schedule. I’ve been settling into my new home office and routine. It’s still a lot of work, and sometimes hectic. But with each new page that gets completed, I figure out some new way of making the process go a little more smoothly.

That process has changed a ton over the years. And I’m sure it will change again. And that’s okay. It’s hard to stay balanced when you’re standing still; it takes near constant movement and correction as we adjust to our circumstances. The key is to not over-correct, but rather strive to carefully introduce those corrections in a way that will be sustainable.
