Kraal is sitting at his desk with his head in his hands, staring down at some papers while various math and statistics equations buzz around his head. He glances up as he hears voices from the next room saying, "Take a card, Ine," followed by, "...Yes! Scorpion Tail! I fuse it and attack!" We then see Chris, Dil, and Ine sitting at a table, playing a game with hexoganal board pieces, miniature animal figurines, tokens, and cards. Chris smirks and points at Ine, saying, "You have to wait a turn to attack after fusing, remember?" Ine studies the card in his hand and says, "Oh right... dang. Do I want to attack now, or...?" The three of them glance up in surprise as Kraal enters the frame and says, "Fuse now, Ine. You sacrifice short-term mobility for a long-term tactical advantage." We see a closeup of Kraal as he gestures with his hand, saying, "This early in the game, you have plenty of chances for it to pay off." Then he grins sheepishly and says, "Also, um... think I culd play just one game?"
